I built an iPhone and web app for a damage restoration company to replace paper timesheets. Staff could log hours, record materials and attach photos to jobs. The office could approve time and send invoice drafts to Dinero.
I handled development, client feedback and the App Store release. My fixed-price estimate covered the screens, but underestimated payroll rules, accounting integration and feedback rounds. The work took far longer than I had priced.
The company used the app daily, and I maintained it into 2025. They have since moved on from it.
