As a student developer at Nassau Door from 2021 to 2023, I worked on a garage door monitoring platform, including device firmware, a backend and a dashboard.
An ESP32 read door status over Bluetooth Low Energy and sent it over SigFox to a Node.js backend. The firmware packed readings into 12-byte messages. A React dashboard showed door status and energy indicators.
